Christopher Fazekas
Christopher Fazekas is the Founder of The Trent Hall Company.
Christopher has focused his career on alternative asset management, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets opportunities around the world including venture capital, private and public equity, credit, and emerging markets investments and fund formation. He has served as a founder, board member, investment committee member, and advisory board member at numerous international investment firms and companies.
Christopher serves as a Senior Partner and Head of Strategic Initiatives and Business Development for Safanad, a global holding company combining investment and operational excellence that is focused on the education, healthcare, digital infrastructure and real estate sectors. Christopher is responsible for leading all firm strategic initiatives and business development as the business continues to scale.
At The Trent Hall Company, Christopher has focused on investing and supporting founders in the growth and technology space in Climate Tech, Foodtech, SAAS, Proptech, Fintech and E-Commerce areas to help them institutionalize their businesses and lead their capital formation, strategy and business development initiatives. He also serves as a venture partner and advisor to a number of family offices, venture capital firms, early-stage companies and entrepreneurs.
Christopher is the Lead Director of XNRGY Climate Systems, a leading climate tech company focused on decarbonization through the design and production of more efficient HVAC systems. He is a board member of Global School Management, a global school management platform, as well as Element Critical, a leading co-location data center operator. Christopher also oversees Strategic Finance for Verishop, an e-commerce marketplace that empowers new and independent brands and merchants in the fashion, home, and beauty space.
Previously, Christopher spent ten years as a member of the leadership team, board member and investment committee member of the asset management subsidiary of one of the world’s largest investment companies, where he was a principal architect of the private equity, venture capital, hedge fund, credit, and emerging markets businesses of the firm, which now has over $20 billion in AUM. Christopher began his career at a major international law firm focused on cross-border mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in New York, Washington D.C., and Hong Kong.
Christopher received his J.D. magna cum laude and LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Duke University and his B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia where he received the Duncan Clark Hyde Award for the highest academic performance in Economics.
